Gizem Dolu İstanbul Masalları (Mysterious Tales of İstanbul), which brings İstanbul’s never-before-heard stories into the present day, has been published by İBB Yayınları…
İstanbul is one of the world’s most colourful cities, celebrated for its folklore and literature. With its cultural atmosphere and its stories, it is a unique place that welcomes visitors into an enchanted world.
Building a bridge between past and present, Gizem Dolu İstanbul Masalları brings İstanbul’s little-known stories to light. The book gathers original tales written for İstanbul by 13 authors who have enriched our literature, accompanied by striking illustrations.
In these tales you will witness the human relationships that have given İstanbul its worth, people’s interactions with places, and mysterious new stories. You will have the chance to view İstanbul’s fairy-tale realm from the perspective of both yesterday and today.
Gizem Dolu İstanbul Masalları is available from İstanbul Kitapçısı shops and all bookshops.
